China Property: The NBS national residential new home sales (GFA) data for Jan-Jun 2022 shows some improvement with a drop of -27% compared to the same period in 2021, less negative than -28% for Jan-May. The weekly data for June did indicate such a slight change in direction. Other measures of sales also indicate some improvement. Overall, however, the key metrics remain highly negative, with new starts, investment, and land sales extending declines on most measures.
