China Property: Hangzhou stands out on multiple metrics in 2021 - a combined strong growth in sales volume, land sales, and fast inventory clearing. Hangzhou's house price growth remains positive but decelerated sharply from the highs of 2020. The city also saw an increase in the share of major developers’ land acquisitions to a 7.5% share of the total RMB spent by these developers on land in 2021. See the Chart below.
