As part of Real Estate Foresight's 14th annual China Property Outlook, we hosted a small group meeting yesterday in London, where we shared our 2026 forecast for new home sales and new starts, key themes for the year, along with the latest data to stimulate the discussions.

This was the first China Property Outlook session in London, following our annual meeting in Hong Kong last week.

The questions about gauging a turning point, level of policy support, the situation with the pre-sold but not completed units, true inventory levels, and long-term fundamentals - all come up the most in these discussions.
